Basics

After installing the certificate, you can start capturing traffic.

Start the proxy

1. Open HttpShark and tap Start in the upper-right corner of the home screen.
2. The first time you capture traffic, the system asks whether to allow VPN use. Tap Allow so HttpShark can handle and display network requests.
3. A key icon appears in the status bar while capture is active.

Test traffic capture

Open any webpage in a browser to trigger network requests:

• If new entries appear in the request list, the proxy is working.

Inspect requests

The capture list shows:

• Request method, path, and status code
• Request and response bodies
• Duration and size
